The product has an acaricide and repellent efficacy against ticks, persisting for respectively 4 weeks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus) and 3 weeks (dermacentor reticulatus).
Ticks already on the dog at the time of treatment may not be killed during the 2 days following administration of treatment and may remain attached and visible.
Therefore it is recommended to remove ticks present during application of the treatment to prevent their attachment and taking blood meal.
A single treatment provides a repulsive activity (anti-blood feeding) against sand flies for two (Phlebotomus papatasi) three weeks (Phlebotomus perniciosus) against mosquitoes for two (Aedes aegypti) and four weeks (Culex pipiens) and cons flies to barn (Stomoxys calcitrans) for four weeks.
