Proteochoc is a supplement with extract of alga Porphyra umbilicalis, which contributes to cell protection. The alga Porphyra umbilicalis is taking place in especially difficult environmental conditions for survival and has generated a potent cell protection system. In vitro studies have shown that this alga is able to stimulate the synthesis of certain protective proteins in human cells, and to protect cells from oxidative stress and from the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation. In the formula Proteochoc Porphyra umbilicalis extract (Porphyral HSPR) provides antioxidant protection and effect on body cells, and virgin borage oil provides gamma linolenic acid (GLA), a fatty acid Omega-6 series involving on the proper functioning of the nervous, cardiovascular system in good condition of the skin and in the functioning of the female hormonal system.
