Plantain is an anti-inflammatory that has traditionally been used to soothe dry skin and treat irritation and redness. The plantain extracts in Bioderma Créaline H2O TS micellar water for very dry skin soothe itchy skin. These properties come from the mucilage content in plantain, which also gives it emollient action. Plantain also contains aucubin which has anti-inflammatory activity.

Laboratoires Bioderma have developed special techniques to extract their active ingredients in order to preserve maximum efficacy of the plantain extracts. The plant's activity is complemented by glycerine, which deeply hydrates the skin.

How to use it

Micellar solutions like Créaline H2O TS are mainly used to remove make-up, then deeply cleanse the face. They are therefore for daily use in the evening. You can also use it in the morning to ensure your skin is as clean as possible and reawaken your inner radiance.

Micellar solutions are a great replacement for water and soap, which are often too aggressive for dry skin, not to mention very dry and reactive skin. They don't require rinsing, but you do need to make sure you gently dry your face completely before applying face cream or make-up.
