CYTOLNAT® CENTELLA is formulated with titrated extract* of centella asiatica, a plant native to East Africa and India with proven dermo-repairing and soothing properties.

CYTOLNAT® CENTELLA is an "oil-in-water" emulsion, which helps to restore the hydrolipidic film, the skin's natural protective barrier. What's more, the moist micro-environment created by applying the emulsion to the skin (in a thick layer if necessary) potentiates the local action of centella asiatica and promotes crust-free skin restructuring.

In addition, the antibacterial activity of the active ingredients in the titrated extract of centella asiatica has been demonstrated in vitro on propionibacterium acnes, staphylococcus aureus and streptococcus B.

*The extract contains a mixture of active ingredients from the triterpene saponoside family, made up of 60% asiatic and madecassic acid and 40% asiaticoside.
